Guess what the latest stupid craze amongst kids is.

Apparently, according to local TV news, it's kids going to laundrettes, climbing in to a tumble drier and turning it on. [rolleyes]

/me runs off to try it out

Thats funny. I wonder how messed up they come out.

I know that around here, kids have those shoes with the wheels in them. Kind of annoying if you ask me. They aren't very respectful when they roll around on those things.

Damn those things piss me off. Seems like all the kids that have them are the rebellious type too. [thumbdown]

My friends and I used to do that when we were kids 15 years ago.

I doubt this is the latest craze, I think it's probably more a case of filling up an essentially guff news programme with the help of the "i'm feeling lucky" button.

I would imagine they were pretty messed up to get into the dryer to begin with. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/laugh1.gif

LsrSRVxR 02-16-2008 05:32 AM

lol Beavis & Butthead did this 10 years ago [yes]

XGoFivk7 02-16-2008 06:52 AM

Hell, I did this ten years ago.

It hurts a little and is stupid but it's better than doing drugs.

en-druzhba 02-16-2008 07:47 AM

In my day, kids used to press on each other's chests until they passed out for fun

I guess inhaling aerosols was getting a bit too expensive for them.

Who cares? Let natural selection work it's magic.

Pjayjukr 02-16-2008 07:44 PM

Thats rough on the dryer belts and motors. I don't remember how many motors I had to get re-wound after being burned up because of this. Made my father and I a good bit of money though :P
