really, there is so much to do here if ure into your outdoor persuits, lots of walking, just next to the lakes and the trough of bowland, 30 mins car ride from the yorkshire dales, and also if your into your cross country bike riding its great. also got go-carting and paint balling and loadsa other stuff.

I think you might've missed the point. My friend isn't into outdoor pursuits.Considering she's a female, there's only one thing in women's mind that really matters when considering a city. Are there enough shops? She says the shopping is pretty crap.
