On rare occasions I'll slam my hand down on a table or something, and it does hurt a bit and I feel like a tard but no bruises or anything.

I've never broken a controller either just because those damn things cost money!

I do a fair share of yelling though [rofl].

I was playing F.E.A.R. once at 4AM in pitch black when a "holy crap that's scary as hell" moment happened (there are many of them in FEAR). I wasn't ready for it and fell out of my chair.

One time my great-grandma and I were playing DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball on the Xbox and I got really angry because she got on a roll and beat me 3 games in a row. She started ranking on me and wouldn't stop talking smack, so I jumped up and went to punch her in the face and Cerberus (her chihuahua) got defensive and attacked me (tearing my pantleg and scratching my ankle). I think I had a bruise on my shin from where she hit me with her walking stick too. But that's the only time I ever got injured playing video games. At home, anyways...

I once rented Marvel Vs Capcom and played with a friend so long that my thumbs were completely unusable the next day. So I put band-aids on them and played all day anyways.

I don't think my hands were ever the same again.

I found Mafia: City of Lost Heaven to be such an infuriating, frustrating game that I tore the box to pieces. I came [i]this[i] close to snapping the disc in two as well.

Never injured myself though.

Anywho...yes...I have hurted myself playing a game...in fact, just the other day I did. So, I bought a new headphone mic set thingie so I can talk whilst playing WoW and well I poked myself in the eye with the mic while trying to put it on. It really hurt.

Same here! [yes]

I hope the person who thought up that control scheme got fired. Those 'rotate-the-stick' mini-games damaged the skin on my hands and the controller!
And I hate games that make you damage the controller [cursing]

the most painful was probably mario party, where you needed to rotate that stick. I used my palm and got a gigantic blister.

the most impairing was probably from playing too much loco roco. i played for 4 hours, the next day, i couldn't even make a fist properly.

I did almost kill myself once. (er! and a friend).

It was when Carmeggedon 2 came out and I played it solid for about 28 hours, I was totally addicted to that game, and I'd just finished a marathon session on it and was about to go to bed, when my next door neighbour came around and asked me if I'd drive him to work as his car wouldn't start.

So we jumped into my motor, and I was feeling pretty strange as we were going up the road, probably cos my eyes had been glued to a monitor for over a day.

About 10 miles up the road, we were bombing along up this mile long stretch of road, doing about 70mph (give or take 10mph or so) and a huge truck was coming the other way, I had been slamming headon into trucks all night in Carmeggedon, so my brain was a bit frazzled, so thats probably why I swerved onto the wrong side of the road and started to play chicken with a 10 ton truck, my mate was pretty horrified and grabbed the wheel, and pulled us back over to the right side as this truck went screaming past, its horn blaring.

My mate was looking at me like I was f*cking crazy, Maybe I was. cos all I was thinking about was how much cash I'd get for slamming head on into this truck, Then my brain sort of caught up with reality, and I realised what I'd almost done and promptly puked all over the steering wheel.

I don't do any long sessions anymore, as these days I'm more into playing stuff like FEAR, so God knows what would happen after 28 hours on that.

Drunken Wii bowling. Friend takes off strap, goes to bowl, controller hits ground, and rockets into other friend's LCD TV [surrender].

Other then that I've only fallen out of my chair on occasion
