Default Spooks, I'm I missing anything important?
I only started watching this programme at the beginning of the most recent series so I'm watching the repeats they just started showing on the Hallmark channel. Unfortunately the Hallmark channel features adverts so they must have cut some bits out of it to fit them in. Am I missing anything important by watching these cut episodes?

I think the adverts lessen the impact of what a pile of bilge the show is by breaking up the Spooks skullduggery into readily digestible parts.

I've heard nothing but praise for the show so eventually I tune in and force myself to watch an entire episode.
The finale was quite astonishing, with the Spooks team trying to deal with a terrorist incursion of a live Talk show. Said terrorist was foiled when they remotely dropped a light on his head, which must have had an in built electronic release mechanism controlled by somebody running XP {non pro} which he just happened to be standing directly under.

Genius.

Spooks is just....amazing.
For some reason I managed to totally overlook it until Series 5 was shown on TV.
I tuned into the first episode and even though it had been running for 4 series previously and the first episode of series 5 started at a cliff-hanger at the end of Series 4 I was hooked.

I went out and bought all of the boxed sets - most can be had for around £15 - £20.
Me and the wife started from the very first episode and we've been making our way through them all.
Unfortunately although I was ready for Series 6 when it was shown the wife wasn't, so we decided not to watch it and wait for its release on DVD which I can only hope will be soon.

Pick up the box sets - worth every penny.
