I havent visited e.g. religion like i used to just because
1) subforums draw less attention than the other forums
2) the "last topic" is usually a topic from GD... the "last topic" is now covering 6 topics

I thought people stopped visiting forums like the Religion/Politics subforum because it's mostly a bunch of uninformed, arrogant teenage boys name calling each other and being disrespectful in general.

I'm not a big fan of the subforums either. It doesn't seem like they draw as much traffic as they once did. But I don't actually know since I haven't seen any of the traffic statistics.

people bitched and moaned to get the rel/pol sub forum and I bet if FM got rid of it people would bitch and moan to get it back and see it as a slight from FM for quashing thier freedom liberties.

in short people are never happy what ever you do and FM the poor buggers can never win.

i think some changes are needed but not pull out.

1 - mobile should be on it's own and not under console!
2 - no more OS? you can find OS posting on Software, it only adding confusion.
3 - lose the other hardware and merge them all under "hardware and software"
4 - your hardware could merge with modding and stuff, dunno.
5 - reviews should be done on their repective board?
6 - should consider promoting subforum
7 - and thread like this should be in Forum Support/ Feedback... hmm..
8 - to think of it, you should just have a FM feedback/support and a YG & forum feedback/support or something like that.

U see the newest thread on 3DMark06 forum, u go there and reply..then all the sudden u see it is at 3DMark05 board

so what good is to see the latest post about 3dmark05 while the head-title is about 3dmark06?

I dint think the community understands it, or their thinking alien like.

I dont see hadrware cfooling much either anymore.. it should be in hardware general. That way other people who don't see it can learn too.. But noooo... FM wants to keep all things seperated and make it more difficult than it was to supposed to be.

I think you may have:

"loopy juice induced forum "o" vision"

so basically you want all of the similarly topiced sub forums to be merged into a single forum like we had years ago on the old mad onion forum, and keeping the polls/surveys/politics/religion/general wants in a scaled down sub forum.

I could handle that me thinks
