Ok heres the thing...

I came home from work today and as I was walkin into my apt my next door neighbor comes out and makes small talk with me. I thought it was weird as he caught just as I was opening my door.

Anyways, to make a long story short he needs $350 to make up for his rent or else he gets evicted tomorrow at noon.

heres my dilemma:
1. I dont really know the guy all that well, sure I know his name but we dont really hang out. Ive prolly talked to him twice.
2. He has a wife and 2 kids...small kids, prollly 3 and 6.
3. Its the xmas season and I would hate to think that the kids are living in a car with their parents.
4. Every time I lend money or give help I always end up getting screwed...I never get paid back or I get stuck with a massive check that I have to pay.
5. I have the $$ to help him out with!!
6. He offered me his 32" JVC LCD HDTV for $500, which I do not have but would take several payments if I decided to take it. I already have a 47" HDTV...so I dont like that option!!!
