Default Optometry
Hi there.
Does anyone know what's the name of the equipment that the optometrist uses to check your sight (the one you sit in front of and look inside it)?
Thanks.

Slit lamp of some description? Opthalmoscope/Fundoscope? Those look inside the eye

Snellen's chart is used to check visual acuity.

Ishihara plates are used for colour vision.

Not an optometrist and barely done any opthamology outside the emergency dept so not used anything else personally.
