I hate when you buy something and the seller gives you no confirmation that the item has been shipped or if he/she has even received the payment.

People like you who hold out on leaving feedback until the buyer has left theirs in case the feedback is bad.

If he bought something from you, you should leave feedback as soon as he has paid, as that's when he completed his side of the bargain. He completed his side first, so you leave him feedback first. I always leave feedback for buyers as soon as they have paid me, commenting on the speed of payment, whether it was via a preferred method, and how good the comms were.

That's a real ignorant post. Buyer feedback does not end after payment.

The buyer can be a complete pain, wanting a refund because another auction went for less, not giving sellers the chance to fix problems before they leave negatives, chargebacks, paypal claims, etc.

Satisfaction is a two way street.

What do I hate about EBay?

Generally speaking - nothing.
I've been using it for years, although a lot more just recently.
I have a 43 rating, 100% positive feedback etc.
I always leave feedback for people and generally speaking people usually leave feedback for me.

When I sell I leave feedback as soon as the buyer confirms that he has received the package.
I always send items out within a week, so a sale on a Monday will leave the following Saturday at the very latest.
I always send using the postage method I listed and I don't attempt to make massive profit on the postage like others tend to.

Of the stuff I've bought it has always been as described - I'm yet to be ripped off.
There are only two things that annoy me:

1. When I buy something and I've paid I expect delivery at a fair rate, waiting weeks before something is sent is out of order.
2. If you win one of my auctions then I expect payment within a day or two so I can arrange to get it sent out - I shouldn't have to wait a week for youj to cough up.
3. Scammers - Selling empty boxes, Nigerian mobile phone buyers etc

Other than that my experience of both EBay and Paypal has been rather good.
