Default OMFG help? my ICQ # just got stolen.
my number is 27-947-364

I was on last night when it suddenly booted me off saying my # was in use on another computer.

After some digging I have found my profile is totaly changed, I can not use the password recover services to get it back.

I will loose contact with a lot of friends if I dont find a way to get my ICQ back which is going to depress the heck out of me.

Anyone know how to hack it back? or any secret way to get my password reset? It wont send back to my e-mail adress any longer. Or any way to get in contact with anyone at ICQ?

Apperently all of this happened because I was using 2003b Pro. Which you can just be taken over with one simple message, you don't even have to open it.

People still use ICQ? Sucks to hear. If you know this tactic, try it on him?

I don't know how to do it, only that it can be done, and I only know because I started looking into what was happening with my account, Far be it for Time Warner to you know actualy send you any information when they screw things up.
And they would still have to be using 2003b.

That happened to me with one of my low issue UIN's. No idea how it was stolen but it happened after I had alot of people messaging me trying to get me to give them my very low number.
I guess having a really low issue number was some status symbol to certain little geeks.
I still have my first numbers, one of which is a little over 100,000 and the other which is in the 118,000's.

This is so very very weak. Good reason to stop using ICQ forever.

Yeah stopped using icq ages ago, it rocked but ultimately msn is easier and can do all the stuff that icq used to be ace for (like file transfers)

Sucks to hear though dude [thumbdown]
