I couldn't be assed to read OP. Can someone explain in less than 10 words what the link is between peanuts and TV shows. Cheers.

There was a saying about "nuts" in the season finale just before they went to war with the neighboring town.

Which in the series referes to a allied commander saying "nuts" (go **** yourself) to the Germans when they demand him to surrender.
