Am i commiting suicide ? :P

Ok ok i will keep it short.. yes its another girl 'problem' thread.. my first though ^^
so i met this girl online about 3-4month ago and we are chatting daily since then .. sometimes over 7 hours and well i like her a lot.. i mean really a lot.. she problably likes me too or she wouldnt chat with me all the time ^^ im not talking about love or anything but maybe its more than just a relationship between friends.. well... we never even talked on the phone (she does not want that) but 2 weeks ago we said we are meeting each other and bla.. well thats this monday^^

so i will drive to her on monday and well i cant really think what will happen ect.. yes be yourself and so on i know, but it will be embarrasing anyway somehow.. its really strange we know so much about each other but somehow we dont know us even a bit http://www.futuremark.com/forum/images/styles/World/icons/wacko.gif

well i will be at her house for 2 days and maybe you could give me some serious hints or so how this will succed and not end in a disaster http://www.futuremark.com/forum/images/styles/World/icons/unsure.gif

i already bought her a nice cd of her favourite band and maybe will buy her a nice flower or something http://www.futuremark.com/forum/images/styles/World/icons/tongue.gif

i would really appreciate any help from some of the more experienced guys here, thx ;)

Does she live far away?

rostpribru 02-06-2007 08:38 PM

uhm about 2hours by car ^^ why ? :P

I'm sure you'll both be fine making the switch from the type of people who spend 8+ hours a day in front of your respective computers to people who enjoy the fabulous coupling lifestyle with your short 2 hour commute.

You're right when you choose to come to a tech forum to seek out people experienced with this, since I assume a lot are. I don't, however, think they're experiences you want to hear before your own endeavour.

I wish anyone that starts a 'girl problem' thread, would commit suicide

duawLauff 02-06-2007 10:06 PM

Just keep it fly. dont go spending too much on her.

Does no one else find that bizarre?! "I dont want to talk to you on the phone, but hey, come spend 2 days with me" http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/wacko1.gif

I find its the opposite, females tend to want to speak on the phone more than online chat

Ervntewc 02-06-2007 10:29 PM

Woo, I missed that bit. I'd certainly start being concerned about now.

rostpribru 02-06-2007 10:37 PM

I don't think the fact she doesn't want to talk on the phone, but wants to meet up is weird. I hate talking on the phone to someone I don't really know that well, but I'd happily meet up with them IRL. Talking to someone in person is a whole lot easier than on the phone, IMO of course.

I wouldn't over do it with the gifts, what you have is about perfect though http://discussworldissues.com/forums...lies/cool1.gif Something she would enjoy (cd) and a flower, make sure you pick the right one though http://discussworldissues.com/forums...es/tongue1.gif

first real comment thx ;)
an idea what flower it could be ? ;)

dabibibff 02-06-2007 11:30 PM

you've seen pictures of each other right? http://discussworldissues.com/forums...es/tongue1.gif

just don't expect too much and just enjoy yourself. if you get along this well it should be fine, just be who you are and have been while chatting to her, she clearly likes that http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/smile1.gif

if i may ask.. how old is she?

A yellow rose, or daisy perhaps? Different flowers mean different things, but those two are regarded as flowers for friendship, Google about flower vocabulary! [yes]
