Did anyone watch Pan's Labyrinth

I just watched the preview on apple movies and it seems interesting. I might try and get my girlfriend to watch it. Problem is she is afraid of movies like this and I saw it was rated R. Is there a lot of blood/gore?

No, there's not a lot of gore. Its a bit bloody and creepy at parts. There's some battle footage, so obviously people will get shot but I don't recall and hack'n'slash or limbs being blown off.

I thought it was an awesome movie.

There's gore, but the movie is fantastic. I just watched it on Tuesday. Regardless of what you might think your girlfriend will react, force her to see it. It's just that good.

I saw it in the theater when it came out. It's on my list as one of my favorites. My fiance loved it as well. There are some gruesome parts that will make you gasp, but they are more or less just super violent/cruel, not so much that they are bloody.

Great movie!

Not really gory, but the torture scenes are pretty hard to watch, even without showing much blood.

Im not sure if watched a different film but i thought it was absoloutly awful...... everything about the film seemed to give off that it was about the fantasy world sorta thing and it just seemed tacked on, the entire film could have just been about the spanish/gurilla/army fighting side of things without the fantasy stuff..... It just felt to me like two very average films that had been in a head on crash.

Honestly i think the only reason the critics seemed to like it was because it was in spanish.

And what the hell was the deal with the whole eating the food from the table with the monster with eyes in its hands.... she was TOLD not to eat it seconds early, the fairys were trying to stop her and STILL she ate two friggin grapes.... WHAT THE HELL!!!!

Thought it was a wonderful film, enchanting, yet at moments cruel.
Don't know how to word this in english but Capitán Vidal "era un despiadado hijo de p_ta."
Loved the razor blade scene and the Joker-like grinhttp://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/devil1.gif .

I liked it a lot! There's blood and severe cruelty which might be shocking to children and sissies though.
