Actually new studies that I've read have linked a moderate amount of sunshine (30 minutes or so a day) as the best prevention for cancer if you can believe it. What a crazy world we live in. Not that large amounts of UV exposure aren't bad because they still are as far as I know.

Yah, it was in new scientist. Statistically people diagnosed in summer are more likely to survive by a fair degree as the sun makes your body naturally make chemicals which help fight cancer. Not sure if it was vitamin d or not.
