Pfft, cricket is adored by 1 Billion people, and that's just India!

Australia 112/0 after 17 overs.

Gilchrist on song.

Over 300 is my tip.

Gilchrist just ascended everyone, 149 off 104 and singlehandedly took the game away from Sri Lanka.

282 off 38 overs required by Sri Lanka, they will do well to get 220.

Who gives a ****?

Anyway, back to CRICKET..

Amazing innings by Gilchrist. I quite like the bloke actually, hope he retires after this though for obvious reasons. SL going quite well but could capitulate at any time. The run rate is insane.

Well Australia again dominated. But what a farce at the end. Poor effort from the umpires.

Totally agreed. That ending was a disaster and I hope the umpires get reprimanded for it. They originally wanted to come back and play the final three overs today!

Anyways, congrats to Australia. They were far and away the best team in the tournament. No one even made them sweat, although I still think that the group stage match and SA would have been close had Smith not injured himself halfway though.

It is, haven't you seen the sort of players that the British Premiereship has. A sport to be officially labeled as a man's sport needs to have some sort of fighting in it where the other guy doesn't drop dead after the slighest touch before making a miraculous recoverery 30seconds later.

try saying that to a pub full of england fans

trust me its a mans game in the rest of the world, ok you get some people who play up and fake injuries but they are mostly foreign players from my experience
