because ManU has NEVER spent ANY money to get where they are? They are both good teams, but this year ManU will probally win the league and the FA Cup due to their impressive goal scoring.
No, not really. The past two years for Man UTD have been poor/abysmal simply because Ferguson was building a team out of young and and old players, from their youth teams. He is proving a point that Chelsea has spent millions, upon millions (something like 300m+) on players. Where as Man UTD has a team that has been losing matches from experimentation and younger inexperienced players, who now are premeirship class/world class [thumbup]

Man United (Well, Alex Ferguson) has a huge reputation simply for finding good young talent at early ages and building them up to become world class.

Can't wait for MotD tonight, what a comeback from 2-0 down.

I hope that Vidic or Ferdinand will be back for Wednesday's game, that is going to be edge of the seat stuff.

Ferdinand and Vidic near return

Ferdinand and Vidic could both face AC Milan on Wednesday

Manchester United's defensive crisis could be eased by the return of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic in time to face AC Milan on Wednesday. More info at the link above.

Awesome news!

Yeah there were a few rumours in the papers last week, then that story yesterday on BBC. I just hope they both pass the fitness tests next week, with Evra suspended we need one back in the centre so Heinze can go to left back.

Uh yeah... I posted the score as it was at the time. It looked pretty flakey, a bit like Phil Neville really.

Nope, you posted to laugh at Man U's misfortune.

Instead they won, which went against your plans to laugh at them.

You were busted and made to look stupid, you're just covering up.

exactly man u have always been near the top for the last 10 or 20 years, yes they have spent money but what team does not

i don't like the fact the only reason that chelsea are where they are is because they have a lot of financial backing, if this was not the case then they would not be in the position they are now

at least when man u won the treble in 1999 they did it with players that had come through the youth system or had been there for a few years already
