Who here doesn't use this feature (what ever it's called on what ever os).

I can honestly say hand on heart that I've never needed to use an OSes recycle bin function - in fact on my windows install it's disabled.

Am I alone?

When I delete files I usually just shift-delete. I use the recycle bin as a sort of clipboard for files, though. If I'm going through a load of files and I want to move some but not others, I'll sometimes just hit delete on the ones I want to move, then pick them up from the bin and move them wherever. If I control-click I always end up losing the selection and having to start again.
