Just wondering who came up with the marketing for yougamers?

'Do you measure up' obviously being a saucy inuendo regarding the penis which in turn is a metaphor for hardware, but the woman with the temperature scale between her legs I just don't get.

I mean those flames must be burning the crap out of her vulva, at very least singing her muff. Is she straddling a temperature scale in such a way that she is enjoying the hotter end of the scale?

Is this metaphor trying to imply that the better hardware you have, the more chicks will want to rub their daisy against it?

So I think it comes down to putting the max amount of bullshit they could in the adverts. Which in reality represents YG pretty well. A site with a bunch of bullshit.

I brought this up in Console Gaming yesterday...personally, I find it to be a little offensive. It just reinforces the stereotype that all gamers are a bunch of horny adolescent boys whose attention spans are controlled by the amount of female flesh that's glowing on their computer monitors. Agreed. Aside from my other complaints, that banner looks ridiculous. It doesn't make any sense...her hand isn't holding onto anything anymore (they just cut it out from the art on the futuremark.com main page and pasted it onto the banner). Talk about LAZY![cursing]
