If it was to stop airing i wonder would they disclose who the stig is.

Clarkson has made a statement saying that Top Gear WILL be back in the fall and he WILL be on the show. He didn't explain why there was questions about it though.

I'm just glad it's a for sure thing again

Top Gear is the BEST freaking show on TV .. /end of world.

[thumbup] if BBC lost any members or the show, BBC will lost a lot of viewers. A LOT!

Mmm, I think Clarkson is just leaving thats all. He thinks he is bigger than the show, there will be replacements. Hammond is a much bigger star now imo.

but i agree, I think you need those 3 together, i can't really think of any suitable replacement at all, in this case 3 is certainly not a crowd

Of course you can have Top Gear without him. Tiff Needell could come back, not sure on the charisma part though!

I also think Top Gear without Clarkson would be a bit pants. Same with Richard & James but Clarkson is definately a cut above in my eyes..

Actually..thinking about it..a Top Gear without Clarkson would just be like Channel 5's Fifth Gear which is good but nowhere near as quality as TG..wasnt that show comprised of the whole team from the old Top Gear?

Yeah. I think it says a lot that UKGold etc won't even show the episodes before May came along.

Anyway, if he does leave. I think they would be better not having someone like Clarkson because people will be comparing the new guy to Clarkson all the time. Best to get someone new. Maybe get Sabel (sp?) as a presenter. Or maybe try to get someone totally new from the general public.

I hope that they do at least one more season together that is GOOD!!! This last season, it seem'ed like to me they had a little too much fun doing their little games then showing us some cars. I really do like the games, but this season, it seemed like that was the main focus of each episode, and only gave you like a 5 minute clip of a really fast car going around the track.

I would like one more season where they test a bunch of cars. Maybe play some games with the cars like they did a lot last season!

Though I think that I would have been 100% happy if they had tested the SRT8, but they didn't

, so I hope that a next season is in store with all three of them testing this rig out. [thumbup]

Dude, this season was the best! Anyone can test a car, hell, that's the only reason I watched 5th Gear, but only Clarkson, May, and Hammond can have you laughing for an hour while they work on a road crew or travel to America. If anything I hope they do one more great season that just blows away even this one with amazing races and trips. God, just the Limo part in this season was one of the best bits from the show! Where else are you going to see a 48 foot long limo?! It just wouldn't happen without those three, and if it did, it wouldn't be so fun to watch!
