Default WHAT THE ****
Im really really pissed off, i moved house a while back, well a few months ago, But anyway i canceled my bulldog internet in DECEMBER....... they are STILL trying to bill me.

If i ring them, i get "the systems are down ring back later" etc.. or then they finally tell me "yes its canceled". Even then they send me bills, so i told them i'll just cancel the direct debit.

They send me bills through email still..... they sent me another 3 days ago asking for £50, so i thought i'll try and email them. So i told them the situation through email. Then 24 hours after emailing them...... their response is to send me a bill for march again, even though they just billed me for that like 3 days ago. So now they want £73.50.

Well they can **** right off, who the **** do i talk to, to get this sorted? [cursing]

I'm afraid to say that this doesn't surprise me in the slightest. A friend of mine had nothing but trouble with them right from the start. His connection speed was pitiful, less that 512mbts when it actually worked which was very rarely, as was the phone service they "cough" provided. At the end of his 6 month contract with them, he cancelled his account and they demanded all sort of ridiculous payments and continued to bill him for a further 5 months. They even threatened him with a visit from the Bailiffs!

Be prepared for a long drawn out battle with them. If things get really heavy, be prepared to a get solicitor involved.

switch back to credit billing, and call up your credit company and say that they're still billing you after you cancelled? Might work? Maybe the big credit card company can turn the screws on them.

I wouldn't switch back to Credit Card payments if I were you. As far as I'm aware, you're in the best position you can be with Direct Debit. You can cancel a DD at any time, as you have already done so, whereas Bulldog can charge your Credit Card for as long as they like. The CC companies won't refuse a request from a "legit" company, they'll pay Bulldog and then you'll have to fight Bulldog in the Courts to get you money back.

There's actually very little that they can do to you if you were paying with DD and stopped the payments; especially as you've cancelled your contract with Bulldog. If it goes all the way and they take you to court, it's guarenteed to go in your favour. Hopefully, it won't go that far though and they'll realize the error of their ways long before it it gets that far.

You might want to take a look at the thinkbroadband forums (used to be adslguide.org) for some suggestions about how you might go about contacting the Customer Services Manager (Harry Clarke?). Try here:
http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/postlist...rd=unhappiness

and here:
http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/postlist...&Board=bulldog

Good luck, hope you get it sorted out soon. I understand how frustrating it all is.

I'm not surprised. They were billing me for ages after I cancelled my account. Calling their helplines did nothing. What you need to do is to make a complaint here: http://www.ispa.org.uk/

I complained to them on a Friday afternoon at about my billing situation, and someone from Bulldog called me up at about 9.30 on Monday morning. It was sorted out straight away.

May I take this moment to sy to anyone who is thinking of changing isp, DO NOT CHOOSE BULLDOG.

Cancel the direct debits yourself

isp s do this alot ive been in the exact same situation twice

Just tell them on the fone and as long as you have emails to prove contact, ignore the bills.
