Summary of the case

For the final touch we invited case modder Heiko Polaczek aka “Fastbrain1“. He has been in the business for over 14 years and has won several awards for his efforts. For Höllenmaschine II he used 6.5 square meter sheet metal, around 9 feet of steel pipe, 55 feet of welding wire, 88 feet of sandpaper and 7.5 kilogramm smoothing cement. To add the perfect final touch to the case Fastbrain1 got hold of half a gallon Porsche car paint - the paint alone costs about 1000 Dollar. http://www.pcwelt.de/know-how/hardware/71764/#

yeah man, I was thinking about this, 4.3TB, sli 8800's, 2*quad core cpus....and then only 4gb of ram ? I know FB ram is expensive, but for 26k I would have thought it would have atleast 8gb....

MackBranon 09-03-2007 09:12 AM

Watercooling + (at least) 3 fans? http://discussworldissues.com/forums.../confused1.gif

Anyway... how do I win it?

occallExtet 09-03-2007 11:34 AM

24-inch Benq FP241W http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/wacko1.gif

For $26k, i would think at least dual 30" dell, if not dual 37" Westinghouse.

Bvghbopz 09-03-2007 11:38 AM

I can't say I'm impressed [thumbdown]

G8whlTAe 09-03-2007 12:04 PM

So how do I win it?

AlistDakisa 09-03-2007 12:14 PM

id rather a car thanks

Pataacculakp 09-03-2007 03:33 PM

From the pic the case loks BAD.

And WTF? Only 1 26" lcd monitor? Also for that sort of money I'd expect something prometia equivalent cooled and not water cooled.

Wmshyrga 09-03-2007 03:38 PM

that case looks really ugly, but I wouldn't mind winning a PC like that hah

thegamexpertsdotcom 09-03-2007 04:33 PM

Come on you guys are acting as if you wouldn't want the PC if you got offered it. Also they are not selling it they are GIVING IT AWAY which is great of them, id love to get that PC.

sitescools 09-03-2007 06:15 PM

I'd love to win it, then strip the parts from it and make a new rig. Cause that's one ugggggly case.

soonahonsefalh 09-03-2007 07:30 PM

Why only put 4gb of ram in it and why only a shitty 24" monitor?

steevyjeors 09-03-2007 07:32 PM

What a piece of **** for that price http://discussworldissues.com/forums...es/tongue1.gif

selayeffethy 09-03-2007 07:37 PM

If someone asked me what that costs, I'd say somewhere around the likes of 6,000.
26,000?! From where?
For the price it's utter crap... spend a few grand on painting an ugly case, right.

I'd have it, as it probably performs fairly well.

Vegeinvalge 09-03-2007 10:17 PM

what costs so much in this computer?

VomsVomaMew 09-03-2007 11:01 PM

Maybe I've just been out of the loop....but Xeons? Why?
