I cant for the life of me get flash games to run acceptably on this works pc, they all run in slow motion or "framey".
Ive got the lastest version of flash, a 1.3amd duron and 500mhz of ram.

Maybe they intentionally stock crap PCs at your work to stop ppl like you playing flash games on them

The game runs well at the very start and at the end (with no scrolling) infact its about 4 times better there - so it takes ages to get things right

Flash games are CPU intensive so it's probably the Duron holding you back. My gf's PC has a P4 1.6 and Flash games run slow on that too. Try right clicking and setting quality to low or something.

I changed the desktop colour resolution to 16bit instead of 32 and it made a fair difference - just gotta try some more settings - any ideas?
Oh and there is no "low" option

Really? When I right click on a flash app there's a menu with a "quality" setting which can be set to low med or high.
