Sometimes you get what you pay for, I'm not saying the Veyron is worth 'all' of it's money, but that whole package was built from scratch to be a supercar, it hasn't just been 'tuned up' like the Hennessey.

Many other cars might match the Veyron on pure BHP and straight line speed (the Veyron is actually electronically limited to 253mph btw, and still apparently runs smooth at that speed instead of 'shaking itself to death'), but the engine/clutch on a Veryon (as well as the transmission) has been built by VW to last in excess of 100,000 miles, I don't think many other 'Supercars' would have that same kind of reliability level.

Basically, the Veyron is in a different 'class', and love it or hate it I don't think anyone can really argue with that.

Agreed 100%. This is the reason why the Veyron is more than just special - it's a phenominal achievement because it's built to cruise like any other luxury car, but unlike every other supercar, it's luxurious and it probably won't rattle to pieces like a Hennessey would at speed as well as other supercars. It should last as long as any other normal car should on the road as well.

If you constantly ripped the motor, I could see the Veyron lasting a little longer then a supercar and especially a tuners car, but under normal conditions, they are going to last equally as long if maintenance is done routinely. Even with the every now and then pedal to the floor, they should last just as long.

From what I have been reading up on reviews, the new Viper's, SRT10 models, are supposed to handle extremely well, and a lot better then the competition, the Z06.
Though I have been wondering lately why the Z06 and SRT10 have all that power, 500+ but don't have a wing to help handling like all other sports cars.

It said in the papers today that the police were gonna wait 6 months whilst they investigate the crash before they charged the brother, with what they presumed would be "reckless driving".

IMO, it should be an instant ban for the guy, especially as it was dangerous driving.

Maybe stick him in jail the same as Naseem hamed...

The sentence should reflect that but "for the grace of god", her, and the baby could be dead.

And both Hennessey Viper and Bugatti Veyron are limited production cars... Viper has normal 2 year warranty etc...

For some reason we still use miles even though a lot of things have gone metric. A lot of things are still done in the old imperial system to be honest. For instance you buy milk in quantities like 1.13 liters, which is 2 pints. A lot of people here think that Europe can shove the metric system up it's bum. Not me though, metric actually makes some sense.
