lol, what a trip. In the first video they show a police concert date, i remember i was in 3rd grade or so, and my brother went to that concert. It was the coolest thing ever apparently[thumbup] . I watched a bit of those clips, the commercials are probably the funniest. The music videos are just absolutely gross, worth watching for the laugh factor. I'm proud to say that even when i was little, I was mostly aware that 90% of that music was pure ****. [rofl]

at minute 29 though, there is a pretty killer police tune. I still like most of their old stuff like on zenyatta mondata and regatta de blanc. also synchronycity.

also, lol, at 33:30 there is an old Atari commercial for a game called "mountain king"

also, there is a pretty trippy Bow Wow Wow video at 1:04

and Madness at 1:19

That was the first thing that hit me! I remember them flashing those dates as well, but there was no chance my parents would let me go. I was a huge Police fan then!

At the time it was..

The Police
Billy Idol
The Fixx
INXS
Psychedelic Furs
The Clash
U2
The Alarm

and Yes Bow Wow Wow! What about Madness? The Atari commercials are pure classic!

I think part 2 is even better and check the Star Trek one in pt 2 (22:08) who knew one button and a stick could be so complicated?[rofl]

Ironically, a vhs from 1983 seems better quality than a lot of youtube and google vids.
