Okay I have a question I ran the test locally got about 3.5Mbps and out of interest I tried a few in the States and I found the speed around 1Mbps does this mean technically even if say I have a 24Mbps connection I'd still only manage about 1Mbps on a trans-atlantic connection? |

Nice one scoobs! Is it from work or you paying for it? Also where did you do your test, CBD or in outback Strath?
![]() Well they said they should be offering 3Mbit speeds by March... wait and see I guess. Funny how your upload is faster than my cable. ![]() I had to disconnect my router to do this speed test because my router only has a 10Mbit WAN port! So my router is slower than my internet. ![]() ![]() |

Of course it's not really a cost effective solution for most people but it means I can log into work from anywhere in the country and have a usable connection. |

Yeah work is paying for it of course If you could do a speed test from the CBD that would be sweet! See if there is much diff. Dude, we need to go have some drinks. ![]() |
