Default Don't you hate it
When you sell something on ebay, sell a good item, bust a gut to get it out quickly, and the buyer doesn't leave feedback!

I have had this on 3 out of 3 of the last items sold, I even sent a polite request for feedback. It would be a different story if they wanted to moan about something and it was negative feedback!!

I also hate it when I pay immediately and the seller doesnt leave feedback until after I leave theirs.

I always pay right at the end of an auction. Whether or not I am happy with what I get it doesnt change the fact that I was a perfect buyer.

Thats why, whether they pay imediately or not, I don't leave feedback until the buyer does, then your more likely to get feedback left, or thats what I've found.

Being a good buyer doesn't end with paying. Some buyers file disputes/chargebacks for no reason at all other than to rip off the seller. Others leave negative feedback becuase they feel like they paid too much. People even leave negative feedback because the shipping company took too long. So no, it's not wrong to wait to leave feedback until after the seller is satisfied that you're ok with what you bought.

Well it does if you start lying about the goods, or lost goods or whining you didn't get EXACTLY what you wanted. Not suggesting you would, but how's the seller supposed to know?
edit; beaten

Agreed. A good deal is only a good deal when both sides are finally satisfied with the deal and no more claims are made. The deal doesnt end with the paying process on the buyers side as this isnt like buying in a store, you buy from a private person. On Ebay I never leave feedback until I get the final okay from the buyer that he likes his item. And when I am the buyer, I never expect a rating from the seller so fast. When I am the buyer I always leave a good feedback as soon as I got the item and checked it, whether the seller has left me a feedback or not.

Usually, if I dont get any feedback from the buyer within a couple of weeks I leave him a positive feedback, because I assume that he is satisfied, otherwise he would have complained. And usually thats like a "reminder", I get a feedback quickly after that.

And it has always worked out great, I have no negative feedbacks on ebay.
