My parents have a got a complete set Encyclopedia Britannicas, from the sixties (I think), and they want to get rid of them. They tried a charity shop but they don't want them because they're so old.
They're going to leave them out for the waste paper collection which seems a bit of a waste. Any suggestions? |

There are several education charities who will take old textbooks and resources from you and send them to places such as Africa - I can't recall any specific names of them at the moment though.
Edit: I've remembered one now: http://www.bookaid.org/ |

second hand book store. I would e-bay them or goto a bookstore that specializes in old books.(Not 2nd hand junk store but one that deals in antique books and such) |

ebay would be your best bet, but the postage might be a problem. I think they would make some nice furniture, it would be cool to like build a bookshelf out of old encyclopedias wouldn't it? |
