Default X-Mas present for a girl of only 2 dates... HELP
I met a girl at a party, the very next day she invited me out for lunch, had a great time with her. We have a second date lined up for the 24th dec. Would be cool if i get her something. It has to sometime small and fun, so not to scare her off but show I was thinking.

We are both 22

whats she interested in? pick something you've talked about in that first date so she knows you're not a stalker psycho person and get something small based on that. Has to be small and lighthearted though!

A small red thong. That always does it.

Get her some flowers and go out and eat at a nice place. Less is more - you've only known her for a short time.

In a case like this I would go for candy or flowers. Have them tuck a bit of mistletoe in the arrangement so you have a good excuse to sneak a kiss.

I like this idea. I think flowers might be kind of boring, unless your date goes really well and you try the mistletoe idea.

I do like the idea of something you spoke about from your first date.

Another idea might be either an exotic looking ornament or a totally goofy one. I have a Marvin the Martian one that my husband got me for our first xmas together and I treasure it.

Frankly, I wouldn't get her anything. It's only your second date!

If you do get anything, I think something related to the date would be a good idea. A nice restaurant and some kind of little trinket could be a nice touch.

Save your money for the people that really matter.

The fact that you just quoted me is kind of depressing.

I agree. It's only 2 dates man! Don't get her anything because you will scare her off. Believe it or not, but psychologically when you RECEIVE gifts, it does not make the person like you more. It does, however, make the giver (YOU) like the receiver more! Kind of backwards, isn't it? I read this in a book I bought off of Amazon called, "How to get people to do anything!". Yes, it's a real book and I found it very informative.

Flowers, its nice and simple and they will be good for a week or so. Hay the 'relationship' may only last that long anyway
