I got a few messages from friends asking for my snail mail address as they'd like to send a card and thought I should also start writing mine. Having a look though my book I came across the adresses of people whom ive let down over the year and those who ive been let down by.
But it is the season where people come together, for Christmas and new year, where you can forgive, but sometimes I wonder if I should forget. I'm happy to admit i've been wrong some of the time, but how would the other person be about it? So what would you do? Be the better the man and just send one with no promise of absolution, or is it best to leave certain things in the past? |

In my experiance, if you try and play the nice guy, you will get screwed over again. Friends or associates, you wouldn't be in this situation if the problem never occured in the first place. I say just forget and move on. Its nice to to relight old fires (love and friendship) but why should you care when they never bothered to?

The only person I've never been able to forgive completely is myself. I've always forgiven others for what they've done to me but I've never been able to forgive myself for what I've done to others.
I think when you have truly forgiven someone you no longer need to forget. I belief you should forgive them if you can find it in yourself to do so. |
