www.half.com is a site I've heard good things about. It's like EBay's textbook branch.

I digress, but in undergrad I had a brand new general chemistry textbook. Cost me over $100. Great book on the fundamentals. I went to trade it in at a bookstore. $5 was what they offered. No f'ing way. Who would trade in a quality textbook on basic chemistry (it's not exactly a rapidly changing field, so the book has a long lifespan) for perhaps enough money to buy a burrito?? The text is still here in one of my bookshelves.

Many campuses have a notice board, news letter or other buy/sell/exchange systems for this very thing.
Ask the student services office about the options.

On the other hand, you may want to consider holding onto them for future reference.

I'm doing that with all of my law casebooks, and already have a pile of reference texts from my pre-med days. It's a wealth of information that's good to have on hand.
