Default Friend's girlfriend went missing.
Wow, I don't even know how to react to this one. I just logged onto MSN and talked to my friend and he hits me with this.
Tonky says:
horrible. dont have much time to talk cuz i got a friend comming to pick me up. but janna's mom put out a missing persons report on janna today and i spoke with the police around 3:30pm because i was the last person to have seen or talked to her... and that was on saturday He lives in St. Cloud... check out this news report.

St. Cloud police issued a public safety alert Wednesday after another woman was attacked by a stranger.
The second attack this week occurred early Wednesday in the 800 block of 11th Street South.
The incident resembles an abduction and sexual assault that happened during the weekend. St. Cloud Police Capt. Sue Stawarski said investigators aren't sure whether the same person is responsible for both crimes, but the assaults are similar enough to warrant the alert. Holy ****. [shocked]

EDIT: She's been found and she's okay!

That really sucks!
Hope she turns up ok, but the chances of that seem slim!

I bet there are tons of similar abductions across america each day, its only when its someone you know, or a friend of a friend, that it really hits home though!

You never think something like this will happen to you or someone you love, but when it does, the reality of what a shitty world we live in and the scum in it, makes you think.

My mother told me, years ago, that her best friend in school, was abducted and murdered, it so easily could have been my mother, then I would never have existed, that sort of reality, hits you in the face, like a truck!

I really hope she shows up alive and unhurt...

I think the worst thing on earth would be for a loved one to go missing and to never know what happened to them.

What an unbearable thought.

Ditto. I'd freak out if anything like that happened to my woman. Here's hoping she turns up safe & sound...

Update, they've arrested a suspect...
http://stcloudtimes.com/apps/pbcs.dl...WS01/112150039
But they're only charging him for one of the incidents, not both I guess. So there could still be somebody else out there.

Haven't heard from Tonky yet.

Damn, poor Tonky, I always liked that kid. Ruz didn't you say you two were moving in together some time soon?

I really hope this turns out well and they find her safe. Make sure you keep me updated.

We both agreed, that if nothing happens we were going to get an apartment together and I was gonna sign up at St. Cloud college with him. It'll be freaking awesome if it happens.

I told Tonky to post here when he gets a chance.

Hey guys, I appreciate your concern. Fortunately, due to the collaboration of her friends and officer Klinefelter, janna has been found and is now safe. These past few days has been one of the most stressful times of my life and I am just glad it is over.
