i would normally shout the words bullshite but that aircraft is somthing else,so i beleeve it even though i agree with what the people were saying that you cant fly with one wing. a lost tail fin yes but a whole wing section.

the engines kept that thing up and most likely the onboard computers compensating too

That happened in 1976....

Also, what isn't told, that there are TWO reasons he was able to land, the wide fuselage, and the tailplanes, the tailplanes are 3/4 the size of the wings, had they been less, he would not have been able to control the plane.

Luck of design, and luck of the pilot.

BTW, that footage was a recreation, the photo's aren't though.

Heh the footage was obviously not real, would have loved to see the real landing though!

Saving the U.S. taxpayers some money they already lost abroad. If the pilot had called it a day and ditched the plane, Israeli Air Force had gotten a new one. Stupid, eh?
