Default Espresso Tips Needed!
I'm looking into buying my parents an espresso machine as a gift for Christmas, since I'm pretty sure theirs broke.. So far I have this and this.. What else am I going to need to get them started? I'm looking to get the best bang for the buck, but I'm really strapped for cash. The current total is $173.95.. Ideally I wont go over $200.

That right there is basically all you need if you're sticking with the pre-ground stuff. If they do enjoy it, get them a grinder to go with it next time the gift cycle swings round and then they can switch to freshly ground.

depends a lot on them

A really hardcore perfectionist would not be happy with a nespresso machine, even tough it has been tested to be the best with capsules.

I know the capsules cost a lot more than bags but they are practical but IF you don't drink a lot of espressso, the bags lose their freshness leading to a worse result.

in this case, I would look into this:

http://www.nespresso.com/precom/home_us_en.html

I got one and it makes a very nice espresso while being very space saving and user friendly.

The link you gave me sends me to their home page.. Is there a specific model you wanted me to look at?

they are pretty much the same inside (as it is with all machines)

go for the one that fits the space/design needs the best
