Default Dynomometer
I put my Jetta 1.8T on one today, and this is what I got:

189.6 Max Horsepower @ 4700RPM
248.0 ft/lbs Max Torque @ 2950RPM

Both are at the wheels. I had some fluttering of the wastegate, so I may try to tackle that later. I got new intercooler on order so I'm a bit poor at the moment.

Also had a "Dinan" '99 M3 coupe there. Supercharger equipped, but no heat exchanger. She put down these:

302.4 horsepower in 4th gear at 6700RPM
264.1 ft/lbs torque at 5300RPM

I just got some dahlback diverter valves on my 2.7t, they definately made a nice increase in power as the stock bosch ones were going bad. They arent too pricey either as far as diverter valves go, got em for $120 each and the shop installed em for free but its so easy to do anyway.

VW 1.8T engines are 180bhp at the flywheel so what have you done to get it to be 189bhp at the wheels? normally you will lose 30bhp through transmission etc so your looking at 220bhp at the flywheel, 40bhp more than standard.

The SEAT/Audi 1.8T's have the 225bhp option which it sounds like u have, IIRC they also have a larger turbo.

PS: Dyno run can cost between £20-50

($40-100)

Cost me $50 for three runs. Mostly is was the guy's "knowledge and experience" I was paying for though.

I also have the intake to the turbo replaced, but I doubt that has nearly as much of an effect as the ECU. The rest of my money thus far has gone into suspension parts. My turbocharger is the K03s model used by VW after 2002
