A+ is useless in the real world imo, just looks good on a resume

Smartforce is a good company for learning at home. I did A+ NET+ Server+ and Inet+ with them, before going to a school in Lowell to do MCP MCSA MCSE

Course in the UK when I moved there they did not reconize most of those lol

I've done alot of in-house training, I have been on several Learning Tree courses etc I'm currently looking at CCNP & MCSE.

Best place to start is perhaps an OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in Computer studies...

Open University for studying at home with online guidance, you have to pay though, so if you can get into college and do one then thats even better.
