A friend of mine suggested that I check it out so I figured what the hell. Dude this movie is gold, I can't believe that I never heard of it before now. What's weird is that dude who made that Adam Sandler music video I think is in this movie...

Grandma's Boy is a great flick![thumbup]
The one liners are hillarious, ie:
"Dude, jerking off on my mom is one thing. But banging your grandmother and her roommates? That's like... legendary."[rofl]
Where do they come up with this stuff?
I've recommended it to my buddies and they all enjoyed it, except their wives (for some reason).

Odd thing is the same happened with the movie "Very Bad Things", which I also consider a dark humor classic.

I think he was being sarcastic and mocking DuranXL.

Saw the trailer......looks quite stupid.

And the advertising is the same reason why not a whole lot of people knew about it either... Fox royally screwed Alan Covert and Co with VERY few ads and the TV spot/trailer they had was run seldom and was horrible. The reason why I seen it in theaters despite the shitty trailer is because I knew it wasn't going to be a let down. If you listen to Sandler's albums, Covert is the one to come up with a lot of the jokes. Nick Swordson is a funny guy, Peter Dante never lets down (especially in this movie), Doris Roberts is always great, etc etc.

Case in point, if Fox didn't kill the movie with extremely poor advertising, it would have been among a lot of people's favorite comedies. Not everybody's of course, but quite a lot. It's a fricken hilarious movie, seen it when it first came out, got the DVD when it first came out. So just give it a try, you may love it.

It was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time, also my girlfriend likes it as much as I did/do. There is so many funny things going on that you really need to watch it 2 or 3 times to catch it all. I loved prettymuch all the charectors and there individualism within a same/same community(of beta testers), the 'grey bush', the fat kid, the boss, all were great in there own way..

I highly recommend this movie to anyone with a funny bone, in or out of the gaming community.

nothing spectacular, but definetly worth watching if you are a gamer..which should be 90% of the people here?
