Okay... If you are the kind of guy that doesn't really see the point of celbrating your birthday much Or getting lots of gifts and whatnot.... Would you be upset with your girlfriend for inviting your closest friends over as a birthday surprise and getting you a present and alcohol? Or would you enjoy hanging out with everyone and appreciate it?

It's funny I was thinking of something very similar myself (it's my birthday in two weeks) I'm not that into making a big deal of my birthday but if I was in that situation I would actually be quite touched that people had been bothered to make that kind of effort for me on even though I would have made out that I didn't want people to make an effort or a fuss.

I would go for it. Its not like you are putting on a huge party. I think he will like it and if he doesnt then he needs to lighten up a bit.

Not everyone could show up at the same time... I have been warning a few people that we hang out with (we don't have a whole lot of close friends, only like 5 that we see really often) that his birthday is today. One of our buddies woke us up and brought us out to breakfast as a surprise, and a couple that we are friends with (and actually moving into a place with within the next few weeks) is here right now.

Actually, they have been here for a bit and they brought some awesome presents for him! Right now they are with Dominick going to the store for food. My mom is making cupcakes. I bought a few six packs of Mike's Hard Lemonade (my mom's husband had to buy it for me, hahaha)

I'm a bit tipsy at the moment. I'm gonna call a couple people to make sure they remembered today and maybe they can show up when Dominick's back.... OMG I am rambling... Sorry.[thumbup]
