guys im having a problem here...bought this home charger for my cellphone, the girl said it would work fine for my phone, hooked it up to show me it worked and i took it. now my cellphone battery literally was going from 37 % to 20% in like 10 minutes! hooking it up to the charger actually seemed to be draining my battery.
i checked the voltages and my battery is 4.2V and the charger is 4.5 to 9.5V... so im going back to exchange the charger for a car charger...those should all be the same voltage right? my main concern is if that charger could have caused long term damage to my phone/battery. anyone know? thanks guys! |

i bought the phone second hand at work and it didnt bring the original charger. i'm going back to get a car charger and just charge via usb for now, then order the original charger online. my question to you guys is, can the fact that the charger i was sold has a higher voltage than my battery was supposed to take adversely affect the battery?
