I hate it because it reminds me of some stupid transforming car on Ice skates The song, however is weak but if it gets the girls on the dance floor, then I'm all for it. |

All they have gone there is gone to clubs in london about a year ago listened to some really good minimal techno, then stole the ideas, rehashed the beats to make a more generic club song which is really crap and an be done by any one with a knowledge of music software. And no, this post is not sarcastic. |

Actually, that is impressive. Steal something that's good, then make it so the general public loves it... Isn't that just a recipe for "tons of money"? It's not just impressive, it's pretty brilliant... I just get irritated when all the generall public hears is song like this and the song with the tits and power tools in the video (benny benasi?) and all the other crap and think all of the electronic music scene is like that. There is so much tallent out there and the only way you can find it is if you're really into this type of music anyway. No-one seems to know how to market electronic music, planet-mu is a perfect eample of this. Started of as a (mu)-sic signed with virgin and set up a sub-label planet-mu, but virgin coul not maket it and so the label was scraped. (mu)-sic then set it up again independently and it is doing really well know. |
