Default So, it turned into an expensive day today
Got a week of holiday - decided to stay at home instead of go away - and then use the money saved to buy stuff

Picked up a military style jacket from Scotch and Soda this morning:

Then this afternoon I finally decided to replace my 6-year old Merrell trainers. I bought my last pair in the US and they have lasted me fantastically well. Not sure I'd buy another brand in the future. Ended up getting these as a replacement. I guess I must be getting old when I consider walking trainers as appropriate daily footwear lol

Nice jacket, though the item description is a bit odd A very authentic military themed blazer jacket with large side pockets. Shoots perfect with a bright chino or heavy washed denim. All mixed qualities were used to make this heroic jacket.

Unless you bought more camera gear and posted a picture of a cat, this thread is worthless.

Ah, sorry to disappoint you mate. Then again, I did use my camera gear to photograph my new trainers - does that count?

Chris,

How are those shoes for running? I am in need of a new pair as by means of some sort of black magic, I have lost a shoe in my recent move.

Those would so not work for running. For running you are going to want some proper running shoes. I have a decent pair of Saucony's which I swear by.

Those Merrell's are very much walking shoes.
