OK, etc among my clan's boards, a member posted about carrying out a temporary update to his previous dell pc when still another member posted this: He wrote: ATI is definitely the best way to go..esp being that they are currently in progress for immediate X 11... nvidea is ati, as AMD is intel....nvidea and amd are the common manufacturers (thus why they're usually cheaper, run additional warm, and crack alot faster. if you are able to buy new equipment for declining parts, then move inexpensive, if u need some type of computer to last u, buy great parts....nvidea is def never as poor as amd, however they do operate awefully warm, and in your day where every thing gets quicker and is more suspectable to heat, I often shy from parts identified for heat issues./.. Only my 2 cents.. Its worth doing it right, if such a thing worth doing! I responed: DirectX11 won't matter for quite a long time, and isn't a thought for the temporary update NC's seeking at... You will find almost no activities that help DX10 today, and those that do don't appear definitely better at all vs. DX9 for the performance huge difference you spend. I also don't know how you contact Nvidia and AMD common manufacturers. They're never, a maximum of ATI & Intel are. They're yet another organization which makes services and products of exactly the same kind like Ford vs. Chevy, Toyota versus. Ford, etc... Nvidia styles the chipsets due to their movie cards the same as ATI does, then different companies make use of the chipsets within their own forums. It's nothing like Nvidia makes cheaper common model of ATI chiptsets... I've had the same quantity of ATI & Nvidia cards go south on me, this will depend more on the chipset style, quality from the produce (solder contacts, thermal administration etc), and situation cooling for long haul use than other things. Both company's & their styles have their strengths and weaknesses. That said, contemplating your card needs to be an AGP card, taking a look at Newegg it seems like ATI's likely to be considered a better guess with both the 4650 or 4670. It seems like Nvidia ended creating chipsets due to their newer styles in AGP cards. He responded: Intels architecture was directly ripped off by amd = generic Intel...FACT they are always cheaper, always 2 steps behin in techniology, and amd in which to stay a race.... nvidea = universal versus ATI = premium....once again, there's grounds thier cards are cheaper and same technology is offered they by dont. and diect x 11 may matter....directx 10 like vista is just a brief legacy...we are going right towards 11...so proceed by equipment that's waste money, and already obsolete, its not my money im just providing ideas, and NC is the kind of man to not need certainly to obtain all of the time.. to some thing. Purchase the common manufacturers and previous equipment, youll end up improving all of the time....thats a well known fact jack Anybody feel like giving me more ammunition to toss at him, or must I just ignore this pure ignornace? I find it interesting he's speaing frankly about directx 11 as though it concerns taking into consideration the man needs to get an AGP card... I think it is much more amusing he believes Nvidia is just a organization burning ATI... I don't even know if I will bother reacting or simply ignore it only at that point... When people can't see past their very own prejudice It's irritating.
