I understand there are certainly a few mechanicy kinds on here, who'll hopefully have now been slow of hiding by ace_rimmer's post, therefore listed here is my problem: overheating! It's only been the final few days or so, but after operating for only 10 minutes or so, my heat gauge goes right as much as between 75% and one hundred thousand. It usually remains there, but currently after I went through the McDonald's push through and had to show the motor down and straight back on, it went right as much as one hundred thousand and my large red "STOP" light came on. Like through cities, it appears to cool down a, when I travel slowly, and when I was going down a large mountain with my foot completely off the gas the warning light went off and a fair bit was cooled down by it. I examined my water degree recently (the pipe alongside the radiator) and it was virtually clear, so I stuffed it backup with water (apparently I will purchased anti-freeze. Oops!). That didn't appear to make a difference. From reading into it it seems that perhaps the thermostat reaches fault. Does that sound about right? I guess I'll need certainly to get it to the garage to obtain it set, just wondering if the outward symptoms appear the same as something anyone's heard about or experienced. Ta!
