Default First Floor Sliding or French Door Locks Question
I was just curious, if your on the first floor at say the Poly, or a DVC that has a patio, is there anyway to lock your sliding or french door from the outside?

I don't think it can be a difficult situation to solve. Making your own dividers out of 2x4 timber is possible, but an extremely difficult task. I think you should better use specialized sources. Anyway, you must be guided by your own preferences. When I face similar problems, I try to find proven manufacturers. The last one I apply to https://doorsdirect2u.co.uk/product-...room-dividers/ is the site that my best friend suggested. I hope it will be helpful for you as well. It seems like you can purchase any room dividers out there! Surely, the more sources you know the better options you have. So, good luck to you in your every beginning!

From what I know, the Patio and the french sliding door don't have huge differences. French doors have the capability to use something called a Patlock, increasing their overall security above sliding patio doors. Honestly, I am not a fan of these door types. My exterior doors and garden doors are Vetro Smooth Fiberglass and, I think it's much safer this way. You can find more door types on their site and also valuable information. Also, I got mine at a discount. They provide such a great service and excellent products!
