Default The next Bioshock games will bring open world mode?
It is encouraging to see 2K still believe in the power of Bioshock as a franchise, even though their decision to disband the Irrational Games after the praise that accompanied the release of Infinite still raises many question marks. It is certain that there will be a new series under a new development team called Cloud Chamber, there is still a strong mystery surrounding what they are actually planning. One thing is for sure, it seems that it will carry a different gameplay formula from the previous series.

Cloud Chamber itself still hasn't spoken about what they plan to do for Bioshock 4 or what kind of setting it will be built on. However, based on the job vacancies they have just thrown, Bioshock 4 looks like it will carry an open-world concept.

This information comes from a “Senior Writer” job that is explicitly written responsible for building character-based stories in an open-world setting. Programmers and designers vacancies are also open with the responsibility to create AI and design a world that seems alive.

Neither 2K nor the Cloud Chamber itself have yet to talk about when Bioshock 4 will launch and how far the development process has gone. How about you? What kind of settings do you want from the next Bioshock
