Default Housing shortage.
I was home watching what's happening and pricing. Today there are 55 agent listing in approx. 32 sq. miles of well developed suburban area in a North suburb of Denver. There are 46 rentals available in the same search area. This amounts to nearly zero inventory.

It's getting worse, not better. I can't believe how little inventory is available and how quickly even the most dilapidated homes sell for.

What's your area look like?

We have plenty of houses in our area, but no one lives there. Too pricy.

The prices on the property have significantly increased during the last year.

I didn't check the actual market price of my house, but I guess its value doubled as well. It's time to think about selling it and moving to another country. Honestly, I'm tired of this country and of endless taxation. I've recently found a house and lot for sale in the Philippines for a pretty interesting price, so maybe I'm going to move there. I've already checked some houses at https://www.lumina.com.ph/property-listing and there is one that I really liked. You know, my friend really wants me to come there and hang out with him.
