Really, White people have no special days for themselves. I could name few white folks holidays. 4th of july is a big one that comes to mind. Because if I wasn't mistaken black people were still slaves on that great holiday we celebrate every year. As a black man, I hate people using race to make a people. I like discovering things about different cultures and you can do that by the way they celebrate their holidays. So how about we celebrate each other holidays and find out a little more about each other

It's silly that white people today take so much crap for the same things black people do just because white people had black slaves about 150 years ago. No one alive today had a slave or was a slave and none of them knew any relatives that did. I also think whites are becoming the new "minority". If I were black, I would be going to college for free instead of being on the verge of having to drop out due to not being able to afford it. But whatever. I don't think there should be any double standards like that. I know these are things that were fought for in the Civil Rights Movement, but that movement was meant to make things equal (which they were not back then either). Hopefully instead of shifting balance too much in the other direction, things will find a way to even out finally.

I don't really get the argument about a "white pride" day or month though. They mentioned in the video that there's Italian, Irish, and Polish pride holidays and those people are all white anyway. I guess it's just weird because with black people it's primarily celebrated as "African Americans" rather than them celebrating the specific country from Africa.
