Default New Dbz Episode Subbed!
Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!

Plot Summary:

Two years after the defeat of Majin Buu in the main Dragon Ball Z series, Mr. Satan finally finishes construction on his brand new hotel. Feeling guilty that the hotel is in honor of what the majority of Earth believes to be his defeat of Majin Buu, he invites all of the Z Fighters and their families to a banquet. Shortly after dinner begins two Saiyan Spaceships land just outside of town, and a mysterious Saiyan confronts the party at the hotel. He is revealed to be Vegeta's brother, Tarble, who had been deemed too weak to fight in the past and thus had been sent to a distant star before the destruction of Planet Vegeta. He asks his brother for help in dealing with Abo and Cado, soldiers who are remnants of Frieza's army, who are causing havoc on his world. As Abo and Cado land, the Z Fighters "draw straws" so to speak, to see who gets to battle. Goten and Trunks are chosen to fight and the battle begins. Without going Super Saiyan, the children are easily defeating the two soldiers so Abo and Cado fuse into Aka.

Aka easily devastates Goten and Trunks, slamming them around and tossing them like ragdolls. Facing the stronger Aka, the boys merge into Gotenks and appear to defeat him. However, while everyone is celebrating, he attacks the boys again. Piccolo blocks the attack. In his next attack, Aka destroys most of the hotel while Gotenks protects Tarble and his wife. Goku and Vegeta join the fight, but Goku tricks Vegeta into looking away while he defeats Aka. With the battle over, Mr. Satan invites everyone back to what's left of his hotel, where their banquet is still waiting. Abo and Cado join them. http://www.jumpland.com/animetour/db/index_en.html

I was really bored last night since I couldn't sleep and was on wikipedia, and while I was on Dragon Ball Z's page, there was a section about a new episode special being shown this past september at an anime convention. I didn't have to look far without finding an official stream of this from Shonen Jump's (The manga provider of Dragon Ball) website. I personally haven't gotten through most of it so I'll post my comments on it later.

To view the stream, you have to download the flash player, which is located on the left hand of the screen with the link called "Download Browser". After that is completed, you are able to stream it.

yea, I mentioned this new episode about Vegeta supposedly having a brother, but it must've fallen on deaf ears since nobody said anything else about it. that must be Vegeta's brother above him, Piccolo, Satan and below Ox King, Chi-Chi on the left side of that picture.

I really wish they'd replace GT and come up with another series to come after DBZ, or just prolong DBZ.

AF is nothing more than fan art with a mediocre story.

I'm surprised at how many DBZ fans didn't know about this new special, been out for a good month now. Frankly I refuse to watch it only because it's the japanese crap, I just can't watch the japanese version of this show, shitty music, even worse voice acting, and having to read words on a screen rather than devulge into the action. I'll wait for the english dub to be released before giving this a try...But I stick around DBZ sites all the time and watch episodes everyday, I already know this isn't anything spectacular.

Oh and a little tid bit of info, when the english dub comes out, Tarbles name gets changed to Table. Vegeta+Table=Vegtable....get it? More lack of creativity for names.

Plus if you look at the pick of Table, the little tiny yelloow thing next to him is his wife...yeah no shit.

And btw, it all comes down to how well the Live Action Dragonball movie does, there are already plans, by Toriyama, to make a new anime series if Dragonball does well...so if you're hoping for a new series, you better go see it.

i can see where ru coming from about not watchin it because of the japanese crap but to tell u the truth i am starting to like watchin stuff in japanese. like Naruto: Shippūden its only in japan right now but i have seen all 87 episodes so far and more are coming its just some animes are good to watch in japaneses because the voices are better. look at Bleach the japaneses voices are badass but the english dub sucks

MAN, I LOVE the quality of this episode!

I really wish the entire DBZ was re-done this way, just so characters wouldn't look very awkward and different from one episode to the next. I hate when that happens.

I'd go see the Dragonball movie a number of times in order to increase the chances of them doing something more if I have to, Viper.

I'm REALLY enjoying this episode, though. I'm still enjoying it's comedy.

Yeah it was done with the same quality that GT was made with, but its also the way it was drawn...so redoing DBZ like this wont work unfortuantly.

But yeah, its not yet known whether he was going to continue on DBZ after the Buu saga or if he was going to make a whole new series starting after DBZ...personally, although GT isn't canon, I really wish he would continue after that. GT was only weak because not only was it not his story orginialy, but the lack of filler episodes killed it...it made it seem like everything was rushed to be done...but in a whole the story wasn't bad and opened new doors for everything, plus it was his drawings, so I really think making a new series off of GT would be the best bet...starting from SSJ4 and going from there.

na, I mean even from scratch. I think if they completely re-did a 20+ year-old anime in the quality of this latest DBZ episode, no matter how long it would take, it'll be HIGHLY appreciated. I know I'd love it if they re-do the entire DBZ series one by one, just like how they're releasing the seasons one by one. that may be asking for too much, but I'd love if they got around to doing that. I think it's needed, because it kind of sucks how Vegeta would go from being very detailed and awesome when he first powers up to his Ultimate/Super form against Cell, but in the very next episode Vegeta looks...VERY different, far less impressive than the way he looked in the previous episode. I think them just re-doing all of it would get rid of that only issue I have with it.

What? Do you understand how hard it would be to re-draw 291 episodes exactally like the original? Because lets face it, the way everything played out in the show helped its greatness and if they re-drew it even the slightest bit off it wouldn't be the same.

I'd have to give you a no-go on that idea my friend.

I figured it might lean toward the "impossible task" area, but with today's tech, I kinda hoped it wouldn't be as hard as you say.

You cannot be serious about it being crap. It's almost 20 years old and it's considered shitty? Have fun trying to find an anime from that exact period and it have better music. For the time it was made, it is not shitty whatsoever. Funny thing is, usually when they do talk in Dragon Ball or any other anime series..they aren't doing anything else at all. Dragonball Z definitely abuses this. So I think you can take two seconds of your life to read a sentence or two. Although I have to admit you're right on the VA because DBZ and DB has to be really one of the few decent dubs that has been released so far. Don't expect a dub of this to come out anytime soon.

Considering the dub does everything better than the japanese version...then yes I consider the japanese version crap. Theres nothing I like about the japnese versions.

And the dub is being relased mid next year. I stick with the news.

I used to be a hardcore Dragon Ball Z fan growing up. I played the card game, collected the action figures and made sure to make it home everyday after school to see Toonami to see a new episode of DBZ, man those were good days. Not sure why but after the Freeza saga ended I stopped watching the show. Not sure why but after that I couldn't get myself back into the mix of it all and eventually just moved on.

Well my story is that I never watched it when I was a kid, never gave it a second thought as to why every kid in america was so into the series.

Then one night a couple years ago, a friend of mine wanted to watch it on youtube, I wasn't too keen on the idea, but after about 5 episodes into the cell saga I was completly hooked. now 2 years later, I've seen every episode of DBZ and DBGT on numerous occasions, plus all 13 DBZ movies and the 2 TV Specials, plus the GT movie, and as of now I am 10 episodes away from watching every episode of Dragonball, then next will be the 4 DB movies...so yeah this is the same basic thing that happened to get me into wrestling, I never really watched it until one day I decide to and get hooked.

But I was 12 when I got into wrestling, so that was understandable...but I was 20 when I got into DBZ. I guess it just sparks my imagination.

yea, I was the same as you, @nti, making it home after school. but I fell away from watching it because, Toonami went on about some fucking show change-up, and they changed DBZ from 4pm to another time, so I wasn't able to see much of it anymore when they did that. but my friend got me into watch whatever DBZ episode on my computer as well as randomly catching it whenever it came on during the weekend...it has a bizarre schedule. now I'm slowly gathering the 6-disc season boxsets they're releasing, and I still enjoy watching.

I really liked this episode...though I think this could've been divided into like three episodes, because that's how they roll lol. I could do without the sucky Japanese voices, but I always liked the music. Hopefully, this starts up a new saga in DBZ.

If not, this'll be fine.

It wont, it was an advertising ploy from Akira to help promote the Dragonball movie...awesome ploy though. The DB movie will decide whether or not their will be a new series.
