Abalone are the best shellfish though lobster and shrimp are also high up on the list.

tariffs will not save you, general population needs to get educated, so you will not be aspiring to compete with 0.57$ per hour jobs, but will be happy that there is someone in the world who wants to work for you for so little...

About a year back I tried my first Whelk (sea snail). They were poached but I still found them rather chewy with an odd texture. I guess they must be an acquired taste.
