He's saying the claim that King Tut had a R1b1a2 chromosome is bullshit. That was the topic of the thread. Even if he did you couldn't reasonably make any conclusions about the genetic profile of ancient egyptians from a sample size of one ancient egyptian.

I'm not pissed, I'm just marveling at how ridiculous you are. And you're probably being serious and not just trying to troll Albert.

I would wager the 1 percent of the population that does have a connection to Tut would be the Copts.
Based on what? I could do with a laugh.

Ben has been on a mission on various topics to lay claim that the Middle East belongs to Christians and Europeans and not Muslim Arabs. He made a claim a while back that the Holy Land and Egypt were Christian before the Arab conquests so the crusades were not only justified but the Palestinians have no claims to modern-day Israel and that a modern movement should be under-taken to take these lands from the Muslim Arab 'occupiers' and return them to his fictional modern descendants of the 'rightful' population.

So of course Ben relishes the idea that modern Egyptians are not the descendants of ancient Egyptians. It fits with his claims that the Muslim Arabs should be expelled from everything the Arabs conquered in the 7th century.

Seriously, Ben. Although I'm expecting to be disappointed, I'm still interested.

Before 1947, my family lived in Jaffa and Nablus. I guess my grandfather and great-grandfather and so forth who lived there and ran their businesses there can't claim that as their homes then. No, doesn't matter that they lived there for generations. It's not their home. You're an American citizen. For better or for worse, your family came to America to make a good life here. Your Grandfather had a claim, but you do not.
