He probably misread your post because of all the ball sweat and pubes in his eyes.

for some reason my profile got set to automatically subscribe to threads and then get email notices everytime someone posted in them... that's weird. Fixed now.

Why does everything have to be about this thread in the thread?

Yeah - I thought I would call it like I see it.

If you want to be a politically incorrect jackass, be ready to roll with the punches when you hear slurs that YOU do not like.
Your friend is an idiot

HEY! Just because I make fun of some of my friends every now and then, doesn't give you permission to do the same.
I didn't say he was an idiot all the time.

Right, I guess MrFun forgot that political hate is okay while religious hate isn't.

Why do slurs exist? Hatred.

Gypsie isn't a slur but is slightly unPC in my country. The approved term is Roma. Guess how long it took for that term to get negative connotations?

Sometimes words have a bad ring to them because they describe and name things and/or people that aren't so awesome.

Then you and I agree that "teabaggers" is not a politically incorrect term. I guess your point was moot.

Although "teabaggers" is not a politically incorrect term, my friend still expressed offense at it, because he's a supporter of many of the principles the Tea Party supposedly stands for.

So, knowing that this friend of mine does not care if he offends people in course of conversations or whatever (that he's politically incorrect), I implied that he was being hypocritical in this instance.

Since when was the tea party's message consistent?

Although, being a friend of MrFun doesn't help his case.
