Halle Berry just rocks so much.
Getting an oscar for getting slammed from behind by Billy Bob Thornton.

SHUT UP TAXES IS EXACTLY LIKE SLAVERY
IIRC Ben thinks that being brought up by a single mother is worse than being born someone's slave. Or maybe it was the horror of having an abortion and how black women were better off when they were giving birth to their master's slave.

Yeah, I'm always floored by his boundless empathy and ability to recognize that not everybody shares his perspective.

Or maybe it was the horror of having an abortion and how black women were better off when they were giving birth to their master's slave. I did argue that Margaret Sanger explicitly targetted black women for her abortion clinics. There are plenty of her quotes arguing that her clinics were a way to rid the US of undesireables.

Apparently exposing Planned Parenthood as racist makes me one.

Gribbler:

At least Slaves had the opportunity to obtain their freedom by fleeing to the North.

All they had to do was go for a stroll!

I'd have to find the thread, maybe I'll do that later.

Living in Canada is like being a slave on a plantation. I had no idea.

What the hell... you think paying taxes and receiving services is comparable to being someone's slave? I don't want the services. I just want them to leave me alone. If I am truly a free man shouldn't I have the choice as to whether I wish to accept these services?

Well, when they find a way to exclude you from using roads, national defense, the services of an educated and healthy workforce, police protection, etc. then I guess they should do that.

The minister's work is also important and he should be trained, perhaps by the Federation as to our ideals and the goal that we hope to reach. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America, by Linda Gordon, quoting Sanger.

Oh you poor simpleton What, you want the actual primary source? I'd have to go to the library, but I'm sure I could find it there.

Sanger was a well known eugenicist and one of the things she strove to do was curtail the black population. In this she was extremely successful. Even now, half of all black pregnancies are aborted.

Yeah, quote mining doesn't prove anything. In context it's obvious she was worried about a possible misunderstanding.

Which justifies their spending on abortion clinics? Sorry, no sale. If I am truly free, then I have the right to say no to all these 'services' and I have, with my feet.
So your argument is that it was easier for black people to vote with their feet when they were enslaved?
